*Amazon Bestseller!* Jasmine, Leeza, and Cristal are thrown together by a chance meeting at the Atlanta Airport during Hurricane Allee. Under normal circumstances, these three diverse women wouldn't have said word-one to each other. By all appearances, they have absolutely nothing in common. But during the long layover caused by the killer storm, they're forced to set aside their differences--at least for the moment--and form a lasting connection. Going their separate ways, it's not long before their own well-ordered plans spiral out of control. Will their lives be blown away like their broken dreams and the six-day reign of Hurricane Allee, or will they be able to help each other find the faith and courage to let go and begin again...Living in the Seventh Day?

CHAPTER 1
Meeting in the Airport
“Uggh!” Cristal Richardson shot up from her
uncomfortable seat, wedged in between two other women, and shook her cellphone
like a piggy bank. Her voice was swallowed up by the noisy crowd of disturbed
passengers in Concourse C at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International
Airport. In fact, there was a near-mob scene on every concourse because all
flights had been cancelled due to the treacherous weather conditions sweeping
the south. The delay had crippled every flight since noon, and for several
hours stranded passengers had been swarming the gates like packs of chaotic
zombies, with no end in sight.
“Ladies and gentlemen!” A tense voice with a
decidedly southern accent crackled over the airport intercom. “May I have your
attention, please?” The bubbling caldron of steaming passengers simmered down
to a low boil. “The airport appreciates your patience while we deal with this
unforeseen weather emergency.” The voice gained altitude. “All flights are on
hold due to gale-forced winds and near zero visibility caused by Hurricane
Allee. This killer storm’s been brewing down in the Gulf for nearly six days,
and we were expecting it to maybe hit us tomorrow. But it’s taken a crazy turn,
and it’s barreling down on us today…uhh...but no need to panic. The latest
Doppler radar reports indicate the winds are moving off to our north and east,
and we may be able to resume some flights over the next few hours.” The voice
wobbled in for a landing. “So, we’re asking everyone just to sit tight while we
ride out this storm, and we’ll keep you updated periodically on its progress.
Please be sure to check the monitors when flights resume because gate
assignments may change due to the delay. Again, thank you for your patience.”
