About the Author

 

Maggie Philpot wrote her first children’s story when she was in middle school (a story about an egg named Eggbert) and she has been dreaming up stories ever since. She lives in Fort Worth with her spectacular husband (whom she calls Husband), her two precocious children, and a rather ridiculous dog, Tucker. She is passionate about anything and anyone who attempts to make beauty, order, and meaning in this crazy world. The simple act of writing is one way to do just that.

My Review

A beautifully illustrated book that you can share with your family, beginning on December 1st and ending with the arrival of our beloved Jesus on December 25th.
What a perfect beginning of the Advent season to share daily, written in prose that will have everyone's attention, and anticipating each days read. These are short verses, wonderfully written, and giving God Is Coming from Part 1, God Makes, Part 2 God’s Promises, Part 3 God Prepares, and finally Part 4 God Comes.
What a wonderful gift to give and share with others!
