About The Author

 Viola is a 2010 RWA® RITA® finalist. Her Urban Fantasy, ANGEL VINDICATED, was nominated for Best First Book. In 2015, her paranormal romance novel, HAUNTING YOU, won the Specialized Category in the NTRWA Carolyn Readers Choice Awards and was a CRW Award of Excellence finalist. My Review

 

This is a very different Amish read, it deals with child abuse, and other tough subjects.
The story centers around Ivy Schrock, beginning at ten when all she knows is taken from her because of the abuse her father puts on her.
The author weaves a story that not only has abuse but Human trafficking, drug abuse, and foster homes.
Ivy does make some very dear friends along the way, some are there for this girl, and others turn their back on her.
There are some really sad happening here, but I did enjoy how this book ends.
