Sabotage at Cedar Creek (Red Truck Mysteries #2) by Janice Thompson

In Mabank, Texas, the Hadley family’s new antique business is open and running well with Tilly, the red antique truck, as its mascot. RaeLyn Hadley enjoys driving Grandpa’s truck around as she seeks out antiques for her family’s store.

RaeLyn is excited that her friend, Tasha, will soon open a new bed-and-breakfast inn to accommodate the area’s growing tourism, but a fire threatens to spoil all Tasha has worked for.

RaeLyn immediately gets to work sleuthing out who could be behind such an act of sabotage. Could it be the nearby resort owner, the daughter of the house’s former owner; a neighbor, or a squatter who had been living in the house before renovations? RaeLyn is determined to solve the mystery for her friend.

My Review

What an awesome job the author does of weaving this story, you will think you know the answers, but then maybe you don't. The surprises kept coming, and I kept guessing! Was I right? Some of the time, but then there are more surprises!
We are back in Cedar Creek and with the Hadley family, this is the second book in this series, but this can be read alone. I loved the first book!
There is a bit of sweet romance here, and loved how the game of finding the right one is played on the pages here!
Also someone is trying to sabotage sweet Tasha's new bread and breakfast? Maybe? But whom?
There are answers coming here, and you are in for a page turning read!
Hoping for more in this series!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Barbour, and was not required to give a positive review.
