An Amish seamstress and a single father have a chance to make a
fresh start in this heartwarming novel about finding love when you need
it the most.
Spirited,
forthright, impulsive -- everyone told Greta Eicher she'd have to change
her ways if she ever hoped to marry. Then her best friend Calvin, the
man she thought she would wed, chooses another woman. Now Greta's
wondering if the others were right all along. Her dreams dashed, she
pours her energy into crafting beautiful quilts at her shop and helping
widower Noah Stoll care for his adorable young children.
Noah
knows it's time to think about finding a wife. When Greta offers to
play matchmaker on his behalf, Noah eagerly accepts. After all, no one
knows his children better. But none of the women she suggests seems
quite right, because, unexpectedly, his feelings of respect and
friendship for Greta have grown into something even deeper and richer.
But will he have enough faith to overcome the pain of his past and give
love another chance?
About The Author
Winnie Griggs grew up in south
Louisiana in an undeveloped area her friends thought of as the very back
of beyond. With her two younger siblings and another family of two
siblings for playmates, she spent many an hour exploring the overgrown
land around her home, cutting jungle trails, building forts and frontier
camps, and looking for pirate ships on the nearby bayou.
Once
she ‘grew up’ she found other outlets for dealing with all those
wonderful, adventurous imaginary friends by filling notebooks with their
stories. And somewhere along the way, those scribblings gave way to
full length stories.
Eventually she found her own Prince
Charming, a rancher whose white steed takes the form of a tractor and
whose kingdom is situated in a small rural community that she loves to
call home, and together they’ve built their own storybook
happily-ever-after. Their lives together expanded to include four now
grown children who share Winnie’s vivid imagination and her husband’s
steadier influences and are now out in the world pursuing their own
adventures.
Winnie shares her stories with readers through her
writings for Love Inspired and Love Inspired Historical books. You can

My Review
This a new author to me, but it won't be the last book I read by her, I loved it. This read quickly became a page turner, and kept me entertained right to the end.
Words spoken that are taken to heart have kept Greta from making a match for herself, and doing what every Amish woman wants, a home and family. Greta has now found a gift, she has become a matchmaker, having a few successful matches.
Enter widower Noah, a man raising two very young children alone, well, he does have the help of his family, but becomes desperate when some of that help is going to end.
We get to see and go along on the ride as Greta begins to work her magic of finding him a fraa. Is Greta up to this challange?
Surprises are found here and we a quickly wound up in their lives and happenings, and we get to see how each reacts!
You don't want to miss this one and see how it all works out!
I received this book through Net Galley and Forever Publishing, and was not required to give a positive review.
