My Review
This is the second book in this series, and we meet Mara as a little
abused girl. See her being attacked by a bear, and then given a life to
live with her father. She finds faith in God and is so loved, but when
tragedy hit she is ordered back to Canada and her mother.
As this story opens we are back with Mara, and her family, and sadly her mother, whom seems to hate her.
We
see the people that God puts in Mara's path, and see her as she
embraces life. In this read, I thought life would be great, but really
that is not life, there are stumbles and pain, and Mara is not exempt.
As she marries Lucas, and gives her testimony, and touches others lives.
I had to admire the women she has become, and now we are there for new
struggles and heart ache.
As this read came to a conclusion, Mara is
finally getting what her heart desires, but then there are new
challenges and now I can't wait for the next book in this series!
I
love that this is such a faith based read, and feel like our lives are
being spiritually fought over daily, prayer and the holy spirit help
keep them away!
I received this book through the author, and was not required to give a positive review.
