Charisma House Book Reviews Presents: Threads of Faith by Andrea Boeshaar

Can Julianna and Daniel start a new life in a new country?Julianna Wayland is running for her life! She hides in a crate on London’s dock, only to be loaded onto a ship bound for America. During the voyage she meets Captain Daniel Sundberg, and by the time they reach New York’s harbor, she is certain she’s in love with him. The only problem is, Daniel has plans for himself—plans that don’t include her.
As Julianna struggles to find her way in a new world, will trouble from her past derail the life she is looking for?

About The Author

I'm glad to see this year wrapping up. My two favorite holidays are nearing, Thanksgiving & Christmas. It'll be so fun to see the grandchildren again (Daniel and I don't get to see them often). And by this time next year, I'll have a new little one to snuggle and kiss. My son Ben and his wife announced they're expecting for the 4th time! Baby he or she will be grandchild #5 for Daniel and me. We couldn't be more excited!

In August, I finished the third and final book in my Fabric of Time series. It's scheduled for release in May 2013. Meanwhile, I'm excited about the release of book 2, Threads of Faith. Find it on bookstore shelves in October, although it's available on amazon.com right now!

Here's what my friend and best-selling author Colleen Coble has to say about my latest: "Andrea Boeshaar has long been one of my favorite writers. Her blend of heartwarming romance is compelling and not to be missed!"
I hope you won't miss it either. As the weather chills, curl up in a snugly blanket by the glow of an autumn fire with my latest novel in hand. It might prove better than watching a Sunday afternoon football game!

My Review:

Another great book by Andrea Boeshaar. This is the second book in this series and just as good as the first. I've read both, and you don't need to read the first to enjoy this one, but treat yourself and do!
This story starts in 1877 and in England. We have a young girl not twenty yet running for her life. Julianna ends up on a ship! She hid in a crate to get away from one of her attackers, and the crate is sealed with her in it.
This is a story of finding ones values. It seems that Captain Daniel Sundberg, has chosen wealth over family.
The author brings to life the street people of England, can't even imagine! Julianna goes from there to having someone dress her! Wow! What a change and can just picture her even having to put up with it. Can see how she would love the new dresses, compared to what she previously had. She had fled with one dress on her back, her maid's outfit.
There are sparks of romance, but Daniel has chosen to have more wealth and marry a Countess! He brings Julianna to his parents...she is to help on their farm. Can't you just picture that? She has never really even been to the Country. We learn a great deal about Daniel's chosen family compared to his own family. Only one person can heal it all...God!
Once you start reading this delightful book, you will not be able to put it down.

I received this book through Charisma House Book Reviews, and was not required to give a positive review.
