ABOUT THE AUTHORS:

Jerry Eicher’s bestselling Amish fiction (more than 210,000 in combined sales) includes The Adams County Trilogy, the Hannah’s Heart books, and the Little Valley Series. After a traditional Amish childhood, Jerry taught for two terms in Amish and Mennonite schools in Ohio and Illinois. Since then he’s been involved in church renewal, preaching, and teaching Bible studies. Jerry lives with his wife, Tina, and their four children in Virginia.

Tina Eicher was born and married in the Amish faith, surrounded by a mother and sisters who were great Amish cooks. At fellowship meals and family gatherings, Tina’s dishes receive high praise and usually return empty. She and her husband, Jerry Eicher, author of several bestselling Amish fiction titles, are the parents of four children and live in Virginia.

AND NOW...A FEW RECIPES FOR YOU TO TRY (CLICK ON PICTURES TO SEE THEM LARGER):

My Review:

What a treat to be able to review this yummy cookbook. I was pulled right in with so many choices and decided to start with the Garlic Cheese biscuits. They were made and sitting on the table and still warm...um where did they go. Seems like each person who went by the table before dinner took one. Picture below of finished bisquits! Recipe on page 196.

Enjoy the way this spiral bound book lays flat, with easy turning pages.
It is sweet that this is a collaboration between Jerry and his wife Tina.
One that I wish there were...are pictures. There are so many choice to make from this book. There is a great Table of Contents, and the index..I love it is such a help when searching for that recipe that caught your eye.
Along with the recipes there are wonderful quotes on each page...such as, It's better to sleep over what you plan to do than to be kept awake at night by what you have done! Or..If heaven is so beautiful on a starry night, what must it be like on the other side.
What a wonderful gift for others or yourself this beautiful cookbook will make.

I received this book through First Wild Card Tours and the Publisher Harvest House, and was not required to give a positive review.
