The Adventures of Cree and Scooter is a series geared toward children aged 4 to 8, and it exposes readers to various cultures in an age appropriate manner. My Review:
What a wonderful and exciting Children's Book. Read this with my four and six year old and they loved it. You will meet a delightful child named Cree, and when she goes to bed she sleeps with her chameleon Scooter.
The kids enjoyed how the chameleon changed colors, depending on how he felt. They also practiced the French words that were spoken, really cute hearing them try!
Included in this story is a map of Canada and their Provinces and Territories, and we found where we live in the States in relation to Vancouver Canada.
When we finished the story they were delighted with the activities that are offered. The hardest part was that there were two, and they had to take turns.
We highly recommend this great book, jammed packed with a great story and full of education!
