A must-read during patriotic holidays and for anyone with friends and family in the military, this book helps children know, that even when loved ones aren’t with us, they still love us and think about us. My Review: This is a beautifully illustrated book for children and their families. So many children are separated from their parents with the military deployments of the past few years.
There are a lot of life lessons to share, and bringing home a dog to help with the stress of being apart is something tangible. There is an encouragement in the book in the form of writing a letter to the Military.
This is Trooper's story, he is Cooper's best friend, and a former Military Dog. An adorable story, and the boys loved it..they enjoy dogs!
The book is written and illustrated by Monique and Alexa Peter's a Mom and an eleven year old daughter.
This is a timely book to use with your Children, and add support to our troops.

I love books that teach patriotism to our children. Something that has been lost on many. My father, 2 uncles, husband and son are or were military. We need to appreciate the sacrifices of the past and the present military.
