Annaliese Merriweather has been appointed the temporary headmistress of the Merriweather Academy for Young Ladies while her sister is on her honeymoon, but she doesn't feel cut out for the role. My Review
How I love being back at the Merriweather Academy, this book was just as good a page turner as the first in this series, and the author does a great of bring you up to date.
This is Annaliese's story as she begins her temporary stint as headmistress! What could go wrong? Well, we know the things that happened in the first book, so I was a bit prepared, but wow!
Even when things get quite dangerous here, there is usually a chuckle.
We are given some sweet romance, some young girls that need a bit more chaperoning, a plethora of animals, and a few disasters. There is a lot packed into this book, and now I'm excited to see another book will be coming!
A book that kept me entertained from beginning to end, as usual with this great author!
