Phillip Robert Vischer is an American voice actor, puppeteer, writer, animator and songwriter known for creating the animated video series "VeggieTales" with partner and friend Mike Nawrocki.

From 1993 to 2002, Vischer led the company as lead director and writer. In 2003 (after the release of "Jonah") Big Idea went bankrupt, and Vischer sold the company to Classic Media and left the company.

In 2005 he started Jellyfish Labs a new creative workshop where he produces faith-based projects. Starting in 2010, Vischer produced "What's In The Bible," a direct-to-DVD video series using puppetry and animation to present biblical material.

A weekly podcast discussing life in a post-Christian America co-hosted by Phil Vischer, Skye Jethani and actress Christian Taylor, ranks in the top 100 podcasts regularly.

My Review

From the author that brought us VeggieTales, another new series to bring joy and love of our Christian faith to our little ones. I am so happy that there are these books geared to toddlers that share my values.
Another great book for Miss Z and she loves to have it read to her, she gets really excited when we get to the fuzzy part! With life lessons, and great colored pages that draw her eyes, this is getting to be her most requested read.
This book shares the David and Goliath story, and how friends help!

My Review

I loved being back on Nevis and with the Banning sister’s and their families, and this book mainly focuses on sister Verity. I would recommend that you read the first book in this series, Keturah, so good!

These are strong women and Verity is now leaving her mark and setting up her own store selling mostly horses and tack, and with the help of Ian McKintrick, brother of Duncan, she has been to NY and the Carolina’s to get her stock.

Now with British soldiers living on their plantation, and the threat of war on the horizon, these women are going to have to make changes.

There is still evil lingering on the island, and we meet the main nemesis again, and yes, I wished him ill will.

I can’t wait for the next book in this series so I can go on with the Banning woman and their loves and trial, and find out how this wraps up!

My Review

Yes, I enjoyed this read, and be aware that all of the answers are not forth coming, there is a sequel coming in September 2019, and I am looking forward to it!
What a can of worms this young woman releases when she does what she is old enough to know better, and ready to join the church, but she opens a forbidden object that will change hers and her families lives forever.
This is just the beginning of the iceberg, and loved how as we get to the end of this book, there are more bombshells dropped.
Watch as the community’s relationships and opinions change, and yes, they are human, and all are sinners.
This is a very interesting book; the pages flew and I was too soon at the end!

My Review

From beginning to end this story tugs at your heart strings, and it doesn’t let go.
The author has set this book back in Hope Harbor, and as with the other books in this series, this town seems to be there for one another, and you have to love Charlie, and his seagull friends.
This story features two hurting little girls, not yet gone to school, but both have lost their mom’s or grand mom, and are grieving. Adjusting to a new place, and one a new country, they share a universal language and new friendship.
I loved that the author gives us and epilogue, it really wraps up the book beyond the ending, and completes the read for me.

My Review

I am a lover of dogs, and this is an author I have always enjoyed reading.
With non-stop action and a lot of attempted murders, some answers come, but be aware this book becomes a cliff hanger, and although I have my guess to whom the culprit is, you won’t have the ending you have been looking forward to.
With dogs everywhere, wonderful animals, and more arriving, they have their work cut out for them, and one is missing!
The story has a bit of sweet romance, but the grief is almost over whelming here.
There are more books to come in this K-9 series, and then all will be revealed.

My Review

A book that takes place 30 years after the Civil War, and we see prejudice up close and personal. I really have never heard to the Atlanta World’s Fair, mostly the famous Chicago, so was intrigued!
The author gives us so many aspects in this read, and how they all mesh together makes for a great story.
Love and respect for your fellow man, whether a parent, or a dear friend, and then we see the faces of evil, those that don’t care how they get what they want or whom they hurt as they achieve disgusting acts.
Come and have a wonderful look around this fair and buildings through the words of this author, I felt like I was there, listening to those wondrous speeches, entering the buildings, or riding on the new lake, you will feel like you are there!

My Review

I loved this book and it quickly turned into a quick page turner, and a sense of loss when the last page was turned, and how appropriate is the title!
The author draws us in with two strong main characters, both woman, and both willing to make the ultimate sacrifice. Disasters are what make them similar, and great men who loved them to the end.
We span decades and yet things are the same but different, and find a home in a quiet town in Florida to be catalyst to healing.
Warning once you start this one, you will not want to put it down.
