Ringing in the holidays just hit a sour note. With mayhem threatening to turn festive carols into dirges, can a gifted pianist unmask a nasty scrooge?
Piper Haydn loves Christmas. Excited for her charming town's upcoming celebrations, she refuses to leave anything to chance whether it be decorations or Christmas music. But she goes from rhythm to blues when she discovers the donated antique nativity set in her care has been senselessly vandalized.
Fearing the wrath of the curmudgeon who donated the expensive display, the ever-meticulous woman grabs her artsy friend and dives in to investigate. And the case takes a humbug of a new twist when they arrive at the grumpy donor's home to deliver some melodic cheer, only to find the door open and him out cold.
Can Piper bring back the jingle by sleuthing out the slippery scoundrel?

My Review
We are in Cranberry Harbor Wisconsin, and getting ready for
Christkindlmarket, ahh, I would love to attend, makes me think of the
Christmas Markets in Germany!
Piper is in charge and so busy when the
book opens, she is almost beside herself! Her friend Roosevelt, Rosie,
is there for her in more ways than one!
A gift that they were
counting on for display at the market is found missing, and parts
destroyed, add to that it was from the towns curmudgeon, he does not
like the Haydn family, especially Piper!
We are there as things go
from bad to worse, and on the hunt for answers, even when there are
attempts on lives. Hopefully, all will survive!
This is a great Christian suspense read, and now I'm looking for more by this author!
I received this book through Malissa Chapin Launch Team, and was not required to give a positive review.
